its been a few crazy weeks and another few are coming up..been a bit awol!! first i want to thank sylvia williams for the wonderful honor of the kreative blogger award.. what a wonderful surprise!!! hope you have time to stop by her blog and check out her great watercolors..(http://silviawilliamspaintswatercolors.blogspot.com/..) she has a wonderful flower going, right now!!! wow!! im going to take a few days to pass this blogger award forward and take time to look around to find a few specialfolks..... again thank you sylvia!!
been working on this class assignment this week.. i missed a few of the classes( like all of them) so hope i got the idea of what we were supposed to do!!!LOL
had fun just letting the shadows blend in the horse and ground.. used three colors ayellow, perm aliz.crim and ulta marine blue.. love how they just took on a life of their own!! tried not to touch much with a brush once they were down. just rolled the paper to try and keep the freshness..

Cindi, isn't amazing what can be done with only three colors? I love the colors you achieved on the horse, especially on the backside- very fresh colors, beautiful blends.I love this.

Fantastic color and blending and great shadows that are so much a part of the composition on this one. I don't know what class you missed but seems like you knew exactly what to do!

Cindi, I LOVE your horse! The glow is awesome! Wow! Only three colors! The abstract shapes created by the shadows on the ground add lots of interest too! I am standing up clapping my hands!!
rosemary you are toooooo cute!!! thank you.. wish you were my teacher.. she had lots of areas of suggestions and wanted me to put the muscular areas in the horses chest.. is she nuts??.. i was dang lucky to get the horse on the paper.. LOL

deb.. thank you for the nice comments.. i used the three colors only, in the horse shadow and the ground shadow.. i did use a few other other thru out the painting including q burnt orange and maybe a indgo in the darker areas.. and there maybe another but cant remember now..??!!LOL thanks for stopping by...
