i saw quite a few that would be a kick to try, but ended up choosing this one.. this painting was originally painted by maynard dixon... who of course, i knew nothing about...DUH!!! but i enjoyed looking as his and others works, to try and decide what to paint.. so hopefully i even learned some thing!! thanks again michelle!!

Good choice for the challenge, Cindi! My maiden name being "Dixon" drew me to Maynard's paintings early on...especially since I LOVE Western Art! Too bad we weren't "kin-folk" or maybe I would have inherited his talent!

thanks rosemary.. i think i have that dark problem again..lol guess im going to really put in way more that i think and then it will be good!!! and as far as talent you have tons!!! hopefully if i sick close some will rub off!!
Looks pretty good Cindi. Now go outside in your yard and do a painting from your personal landscape.
bill this is my yard..LOL actually i have dont a few of those already!! its just fun trying the challenges with others and learing from how everyone does it a bit different.. of course i guess i could get the same effect and just invite everyone over here !!! thanks for stopping by!
